can adults wear costumes to disney world? I am a special needs adult who wants to wear a costume. Thanks have a great day.

    Hi there Penny!

The official Walt Disney World policy on adult costumes or clothing is that anything viewed as representing an actual Disney character is not allowed to be worn in the theme parks. An exception is made during a special event at Magic Kingdom Park called Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party where costumes are encouraged for all guests.

If you're not able to time your trip to Walt Disney World during the September- October months when this party is offered, another option would be to have your hair and makeup magically transformed at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or at The Pirates League. Be sure to make reservations in advance as these experiences are popular! For The Pirates League call (407) WDW-CREW or (407) 939-2739 and for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique call (407) WDW-STYLE or (407) 939-7895.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us at the Walt Disney World Moms Panel and feel free to send more questions our way in the days leading up to your trip! Wishing you a magical, pixie-dusted vacation!
