We have 4 adults & 1 toddler visiting in June. One of the party will be using a ECV - do they need to register for disabled privileges in the Parks ? Can they avail of the disabled areas for parades & fireworks ? Can we stay together as group ?

    Hi, there!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mark. We're glad you stopped by!

I'm pleased to tell you that the Walt Disney World Resort is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive experience for all Guests. Many services are available for Guests with disabilities! The Guest in your party who requires the ECV does not need to be registered in order to take advantage of the designated viewing areas for Guests with disabilities. These areas are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. It's recommended you and your party arrive well before showtime to be sure you can be seated together.

I recommend reviewing the theme park guides for Guests with disabilities prior to your arrival. These maps are filled with helpful accessibility information. Each also clearly marks the designated viewing areas for Guests with disabilities. I hope you find them useful!

Please visit us again soon, Mark!
