There will be 3 adults, 1 teen, 4 yr old and a 1 year old going to Disney (Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. I need to know how the rider swap works (and to be sure one of us wont have to ride alone) and which rides offer that at each of these parks

Welcome to the Mom's Panel, Brooke!  We're glad you're hEAR!  I know you must be getting super excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!  It will be here before you know it!  My family has utilized Disney's Rider Swap Option many times on our Disney Vacations. It is such a great perk for guests with small children. Rider Swap is when guests take turns waiting with youngsters too small to ride a certain attraction, then "swap" with another adult guest from their party to experience the ride without standing in line twice. You will want to ask the cast member at the stand-by entrance for a Rider Swap Ticket. This will allow one parent to ride the attraction, while the other waits with the children that do not meet the height requirement for that particular attraction. After the first guest has ridden the attraction , the second parent can then enter the fast-pass line along with two additional guests to experience the attraction with little to no wait.  Your children that are tall enough to ride the attractions will love being able to ride with both parents. Attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park with height restrictions include Kali River Rapids, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, and DINOSAUR.  Magic Kingdom attractions that have height requirements include Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Stitch's Great Escape, and the Tomorrowland Speedway has a minimum height requirement to ride alone. The attractions at Epcot with minimum height requirements include Soarin, Test Track,  and Mission:SPACE.  I hope this information helps!  Please let me know if you have any additional questions that I can assist you with. Best wishes for a Magical  Trip, Brooke!
    Happy Planning,
