We are 7 adults, from 6'7 300 lbs to 5'7 140 lbs. #1 Are there rides that the biggest will not be able to ride, like Avatar Flight of Passage, Everest, or Snow White Mine Train and #2 which day is better for Animal Kingdom - Thurs or Fri?

Greetings, Kathy, and thank you so much for visiting me on the Disney Parks Moms Panel for advice on your vacation. I hope through my experience with my very tall brother and my broad shouldered husband, I can guide you through some of the attractions at Walt Disney World Resort.
While there aren’t any height maximums on the 4 major theme park rides, there may be a few that are less comfortable. Astro Orbiter in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland appears to fit 2 passengers, but really an adult should ride solo or only with a child. As my tall, fellow panelist, Todd experienced, 1 tall adult per spaceship! He also found that Space Mountain astronauts should request the first car seat, as it provides more legroom (I can attest this is true for Aerosmith’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster, too). As for Avatar Flight of Passage, I rode alongside a 6’10” guest and he told me he fit very comfortably in the jet ski-like seat. There is a test seat outside the queue that curious guests can try for comfort level and security. Expedition Everest is a roomy car built for 2 with a lap bar similar to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Nearly all tall or large guests feel very comfortable on this ride, but watch out for that Yeti… The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is an enchanting experience through the gem-laden caverns of the 7 dwarfs, but the cars can be snug because of the padding and lap belt, though I don’t think anyone in your party will have an issue.
As for which day of your trip to visit Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I highly recommend checking out Undercover Tourist’s crowd calendar. It shows which parks are best to visit on any day, along with estimated crowd levels on a scale of 10. I never visit the parks without checking it! Have a pixie dusted trip! ~ Lindsey P
