Do all adults have to be present to pickup their FL resident annual passes or can 1 adult pick them all up? Will the adults need to have their ID's with them when going to the parks everytime? I want to be prepared and not have to drive back home.

    Hi Jamie,

I'm always happy to help questions about with Florida resident annual passes. Every adult will need to be present with proper ID when you activate your annual passes for the first time at a Guest Relations location or theme park ticket window. The process takes just a few minutes.

After you enter any theme park with the new passes for the first time, and each guest uses the fingertip scan, you won't need to show ID again at the entry. In more than 15 years as a passholder, we've only needed ID at the entry one time, and that was because of a malfunction with one of our paper tickets years ago. (This was before MagicBands). Now all you need to do is tap your MagicBand or ticket card, scan your finger and you should be inside within seconds.

If you need information about what kind of identification is needed to activate our Florida resident tickets, you can find it here on the page that explains proof of Florida residency requirements.

It's still a good idea to have identification with you. You will need to show ID to redeem your passholder discount on food and merchandise, for example.

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope this helps. Please let us know if we can do anything else to assist you as you begin your year of Walt Disney World magic. Enjoy!
