We have 11 adults and 11 children under the age of 7. We are planning our trip for February 2016. We want to go to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom for sure. We are trying to decide between Hollywood Studios and Epcot for one more day. Which one? Why?

    Claudia-

Hey there, hi there, ho there and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love when fellow Georgians head to my second home at Walt Disney World Resort. Your party of 22 will have a blast in February 2016. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a very special theme park and my family loves it. The attractions are fun, fast and filled with adventure. However, with kids at various ages seven and below I prefer Epcot.

Epcot is filled with surprises from all over the world. Young and older explorers will love traveling the East Australian Current in The Seas with Nemo & Friends, talking (yes, talking) to Crush in Turtle Talk with Crush, Soarin' over the Golden Gate Bridge, a Journey into Imagination with Figment and singing with Donald Duck in the Grand Fiesta Tour with the Three Caballeros. The World Showcase gives live show entertainment like the Jeweled Dragon Acrobat in the China Pavilion, flag juggling Sbandieratori Di Sansepolcro in the Italy Pavilion and the France's Serveur Amusant. The KidCot Fun Stops are a great way for young explorers to meet native speakers from other countries, collect stamps and do a fun art project. Food and beverage is the best in all the theme parks. With native fare from every country, everyone will find a favorite. We just can't say no to all the desserts!

Disney Dad Tip: Preschedule a FastPass+ reservation for either Soarin’ or Test Track first thing in the morning. You cannot make a FastPass+ reservation for both before you arrive because of the 2-tiered system in this theme park. Arrive 30-45 minutes before Epcot opens and head to the non-FastPass+ attraction (Test Track if you chose Soarin' or vise verse) first. Also request B1 (the highest glider in the center with the best view) during Soarin'. It’s worth the wait for this spot.

Claudia, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
