HI! We have an adr for Beaches and Cream on July 4th at 9pm. Just heading there for the kitchen sink. Would it be a good idea to hang around the Beach area after and watch the Epcot fireworks? Do we need more time to stake a spot? Thanks.

    Hello Iveth,

You're going to have a wonderful time spending the July 4th holiday at the Walt Disney World Resort.  I can't think of anything more American than eating ice cream to celebrate.  Your family will enjoy tackling the gigantic Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream.  While you will be very close to the beach area I would not recommend that spot for viewing Illuminations at Epcot at 10:00pm.  Take a short walk towards Epcot and then head over to the bridge connecting Disney's Beach Club Resort and The Boardwalk.  You'll have a better view of the fireworks from that vantage point; however, your view will be obstructed from seeing some of the lights and laser show that are at ground level.   If you'd like the full view of Illuminations, head into Epcot from the International Gateway to see the entire nigh time spectacular.  I'm sure there will be additions to the show to commemorate Independence Day that you won't want to miss.

Have a glorious trip and remember to save room for all the ice cream that you're going to eat!

    Be Magical,

    Leanne T.
