    Babette from OH Asked

Just adopted teenage sisters & are taking them to Epcot & MK for their first trip. They have waited their entire lives to feel special to family. We are going in April - the anniversary of the day we met them. Anything special to do for 14/16 year

    Dear Babette,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! As a godmother to an absolutely magical goddaughter, who just so happens to be adopted, your question has really touched me. I have tears in my eyes after reading your story and I can’t think of a more wonderful place to celebrate than Walt Disney World Resort.

Although I find something special to celebrate every time I go to Epcot or Magic Kingdom Park, my first bit of advice would be to pick up "I'm celebrating" buttons at Guest Relations at either Theme Park.

Next, I would recommend purchasing your Theme Park Tickets and making your FastPass+ selections as soon as possible, if you haven’t already done so.

Celebrations are always an excuse for a feast in my family, so I would recommend making dining reservations at a table service restaurant. If you’re looking for something that’s a little bit “fancier”, I would recommend Le Cellier Steakhouse in Epcot. For a character dining experience fit for your princesses, I would recommend Cinderella’s Royal Table at Magic Kingdom Park.

Finally, the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party would be the perfect way to end your day on a magical high note. A reserved seat for Wishes nighttime spectacular and sweet treats would be a pretty spectacular way to celebrate the fact that your 'ohana is now complete and that no one will ever be left behind, or forgotten, ever again.

    Have a Magical Day!
