    We have adopted4 special needs children who have behavior challenges. Waiting in lines could be an issue. Anyone have knowledge about Disney's Special Disabilities passes? Our children have an 'invisible' disability,with brain damage, & can be restless

    Hi Lisa! I just returned from Disney and had a lengthy conversation with a Guest Services cast member about the Guest Assistance Card they offer for the parks.  These cards are not given for mobility issues but instead for as you put it the "invisible" things that might cause issues for guests in the park.



    You are able to go to each park's Guest Service location and discuss your needs before you start your day.  The one thing you must realize is that even being given this card it is not a direct Fast Pass into attractions. What it will do is to alert the cast members at each ride and show that you have special needs and they will then direct you to an alternative wait area or entrance.  You don't get to jump lines as they say and go in front of other guests. Many guests thought that it would allow them to not have to wait in lines but this is not the case.



    You can discuss what other things you might do  to help make the day as easy and magical as possible for the children. Disney cast members will be helpful in all ways and Guest Services can guide you along with their hints and suggestions.
