How do the additional Fast Passes at the park work? For example, after I use my 3 reserved Fps, can I book 3 more? Are they scarce or easy to obtain? I'm trying to figure out if we should book all our FPs in the morning, and use them to book the others.

    Hi Kasie,

I like the way you think! I am all about planning ahead to make the most of our days in the parks. You'll want to consider the people in your party and the way you like to enjoy the parks to determine what touring strategy works best for you.

You will be able to make 3 FastPass+ selections per guest in advance for each day you plan to visit the parks. On any given day, when you have used all 3, you may visit a FastPass+ kiosk in the park and add another one. You must then use that FastPass+ selection before adding another one and so on. Availability will depend on the popularity of the attraction and crowd levels on the day you visit.

My family is full of early risers so we prefer to make our FastPass+ selections for mid-day. Then we arrive at the park prior to opening and take advantage of shorter lines and wait times in the morning. We have always had a lot of luck with this strategy and never even felt the need to make additional FastPass+ selections.

Take a look at for some ideas on how to maximize your fun in the parks with the FastPass+ system. I've found this site to be very helpful in the planning process.

Thanks so much for your question, Kasie. Happy planning!
