Can I add a person to our room reservation after the fact? I’m booking for 3 adults and 2 children and my husband is on the fence about coming. The room in reserving is a 5th sleeper but says it can hold four adults. Do you think it will be issue to add?

    Hi Melanie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I bet you are super excited about your upcoming trip! A vacation at Walt Disney World Resort is magical all the time, but staying on property is like sprinkling pixie dust on top! It's hard to get away when we have "adult" responsibilities, so I completely understand the need to have a big "IF" in your reservation!

Depending on the type of reservation, you should be able to change or modify the Guests in the room online. Click on your My Disney Experience account online or via the app. Go to "My Reservations" and then click on "Modify Reservation." From there, you should be able to add or delete your husband. Since your room sleeps five, you shouldn't have a problem. If you encounter a "stitch," please call (407) 934-7639 where a Cast Member will be happy to help. Please note that a change fee may apply.

When you visit, if your husband joins you, try and take him on a date! There are horse-drawn carriage rides, Fireworks Dessert Parties, or the two of you can simply grab a drink at Trader Sam's Gro Grotto or Oga's Cantina. We tend to think of the Resort as a place for families (which it is!), but it can be romantic too! ChEARs to your magical vacation!
