    Nancy from NC Asked

Can I add a friend (not in my party) to my fast pass dinner reservations?

Hi, Nancy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. My Disney Experience is the thingamabob that does the job of coordinating all of your Walt Disney World Resort plans. So, pull out your magic wand and let's get it working for you and your friend!

I certainly understand how you may want to add more friends to your magical day. I usually visit the parks once a year with a large group of fellow panelists and we always have a few more that decide to join us after the initial plans are made. Let's chat about dining reservations first. If you have included extra spots already in your dining reservations, then adding another friend is easy, as all of the guests' names are usually not required (just the lead guest). The same goes for if you want to swap one guest out for another, perhaps if one could not go but another is taking their place. If you do not have extra spots for them already, then you will need to pull up the reservations in My Plans within your My Disney Experience account and try to modify it to include an extra person in your party. There may not be availability, but keep trying! If you end up not being able to add them, just speak with the Cast Member upon check-in at the restaurant to see if this can be accommodated. I have had luck adding just one person, especially when our initial reservation was for an odd number of guests.

Adding guests to your FastPass+ plans is not quite as simple. You will need to make FastPass+ selections for them if they would like to join you in that queue. First, add them to your My Family & Friends List and connect your My Disney Experience accounts if they have one set up. They will need to have a Disney Theme Park Ticket to make FastPass+ selections. Once you are linked to them or have added them and their ticket to your List, try to Modify your FastPass+ plans to add them. As with the dining reservations, if at first there is not availability, try again!

I hope this information helps you have a magical day with your friends! Please let us know if you have any other questions about this or need more specific help with adding guests to your plans!
