I want to add a 3day stay at a Disney resort prior to a Disney cruise in Nov2015. What is the best option for a room for 3adults & 1child to share for 3days, knowing we all like a bit of space (read my parents snore)? Yacht/Beach/Boardwalk are preferr

    Hey Liana-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Everyone needs a good nights sleep to wake fresh for a day at Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Based on your requirements I am going to give some quick information about rooms that will give you plenty of space.

Value Resorts Suites such as Disney’s All-Star Music and Art of Animation are 520 sq. ft. and 565 sq. ft. respectively. Disney’s All-Star Music offers a queen bed, pull out sofa, convertible ottoman and sleeper chair. Disney’s Art of Animation offers a master room queen size bed and a pull out couch and a murphy bed in the living area. I have stayed in a Lion King Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation and it will be as perfect for you and the snorers as it was for my family.

Moderate Resorts such as a Cabin at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is 504 sq. ft. and offers a full bed with bunk beds in one room and a full wall pull down bed in a separate room. This resort has some of the best recreational activities in all the kingdom.

Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villas have many more features and sleeping areas. In the Magic Kingdom Resort area Disney’s Polynesian Village 1-Bedroom Suite is 760 sq. ft. with 2 queen beds in one room and 1 day bed in another. I, however, would recommend a Villa for space. In the Epcot Resort area, Disney’s Beach Club (726 sq. ft.) and Disney’s Boardwalk (814 sq. ft.) One-Bedroom Villas offer spacious accommodations with a kitchen, king-size bed in the master bedroom, queen-size sleeper sofa, washer and dryer and private balcony. Talk about living!

If you and your child are willing to share a bed that will help control expenses and still put you in a wonderful Disney resort. You should get your sleep because "There's a great big beautiful tomorrow just a dream away."

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
