Mom And Son On Run

I have an active 22 month old. We are planning on a hiking backpack for in-line. Sometimes I would like to take him to "playground" type areas where he could just run around while the rest of the family waits in lines. We'll be going to MK, AK

Hi Beth! Toddlers do seem to have boundless energy. With my own children, I always found letting them walk beside the stroller some in less crowded areas of the parks helped expend a little of their boundless excitement about visiting Mickey.

Disney's Animal Kingdom has one of the best playgrounds on the planet- The Boneyard. This spot in Dinoland U.S.A. has a maze of slides, tunnels, a safe surface for running, and fossils to dig out of the sand. Your wiggly one will be quite happy here.

The Magic Kingdom has a water play area in the new Fantasyland expansion, the Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station. This circus themed area has water spraying animals in an area where kids can play. Two small hidden play areas also exist in this park; one on Tom Sawyer Island and one near Splash Mountain underneath the train station. You will also find some of the queues to be entertaining. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh has a toddler friendly interactive line to keep your little prince occupied while you wait to board your honey pot.

    Enjoy!
