We have "active" magic bands from our previous trip. Disney rep told us we'd get new ones with new reservation but old ones still show up in MDE. Do we still get new ones with new reservation? How do they show up in MDE?

    Hi Catherine!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. It sounds like you will be staying at a Disney Resort Hotel during your next visit. If so, yes, you will receive new MagicBands for everyone in your party upon check-in. To personalize your new MagicBands, create a My Disney Experience account and click on MagicBands and Cards. You will see your current Resort reservation with a blue button next to it that says "Get Started." Once you click there, it will walk you through the process of creating a MagicBand for each member of your party. This will also link your Resort Reservation and your new MagicBands together. Remember, you can also link Advanced Dining Reservations, FastPass+ choices, to your account (and thus, to your MagicBands) as well. It is a fantastic way to keep every element of your magical vacation all together in one place. You will love it!

Please come back if there is anything else we can do to help with your planning.

    Have a wonderful day!
