Hello! I am active duty military stationed in Florida. I want to buy military priced tickets but they are only available on base or at the ticket office at the park. My base doesn’t provide them. Is the ticket office too crazy to try and buy tickets there?

    Hi Alexis,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! From our military family to yours, thanks so much for your service!

One of the best things about being stationed in Florida is being so close to the Walt Disney World Resort. The Military Promotional Tickets are a fantastic deal and a great way to enjoy all four theme parks with an inexpensive option to visit the water parks as well. You may purchase your tickets from Shades of Green in person or, the last I heard, via phone (you must provide proof of service) and they will ship your tickets to you. Please note that may be subject to change at any time without notice. However, it's a great idea if your local MWR/ITT office does not have tickets in stock. If you happen to be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel for your stay, you may make your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance for your entire trip if you already have valid theme park admission. I'd hate for you to miss out on all the great new attractions because you did not have tickets yet. Alternately, if you are not staying in a Walt Disney World Resort, you may make your FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance.

Alexis, I recommend getting those tickets on the double so you can start planning your fun as soon as possible!

Please come back and see us if you have any additional questions. Have a fantastic visit!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.
