Ack! I'm in Canada and have booked flights for Nov 5-12 and will stay off-site. What next? We plan to buy 4-day tickets but what's the shipping all about? How does Fast Pass work? Help!

    Hi Danielle,

No Ack! Just Eh! We got this!

Your trip is close so now is the time to start planning. You will want to go into My Disney Experience and set up your account. Here you can link your FastPass+ and any Advance Dining Reservations you want to make on My Disney Experience. In addition, if you purchase a Magic Band, you can have all of the information linked on the band. If you want to stay with the traditional tickets, that is fine as well.

With FastPass+, you pre-book up to three attractions, shows, character greetings or parades, per person per day at one park. Once you use these three FastPass+, you can visit any of the kiosks at the park you are touring and make additional FastPass+ if available. You can continue adding one FastPass+ at a time until they are gone for the day.

To make a FastPass+ reservation prior to your arrival, you will need your My Disney Experience account set up and the ticket you are linking to it. This is why you will want to have your tickets shipped ahead to your house so you can link FastPass+ ahead of time. Since you are staying outside the Walt Disney World Resorts, you can book your FastPass+ 30 days in advance. You also will want to have the other guests traveling with you create their own My Disney Experience. This will then allow one person to make all the FastPass+ reservations for the same time. You simply invite them to your trip.

If you do not set up the tickets ahead of time, you can do it onsite or when you arrive. You will also want to look at restaurants to make table service reservations.

    Otherwise, have fun and enjoy!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
