When is the absolute best time to visit Disney World?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle! You have certainly asked the million dollar question today. I think if you were to ask this question to five different experts, you would probably receive five totally different answers. I've spent a lot of time thinking about it, and I have two different answers: the best time to visit Walt Disney World Resort, and my favorite time to visit.

I'll start with my personal favorite time to visit, and that is the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I love this time because the weather is usually sunny and cool, and since kids around the country haven't gotten out of school for the year yet, the guests who are coming for their Christmas vacation haven't quite arrived. The theme parks and Resort Hotels are beautifully decorated, and there are a few different special events and activities happening that are only offered at this time of year. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a great way to kick off your holiday season festivities, and you can celebrate the holiday traditions of the 11 countries of World Showcase during the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays. All of this, plus the life-sized gingerbread house at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa make the holiday season my favorite time to visit Walt Disney World Resort.

With all that being said, the best time to go on vacation is when it's right for you and your family. There really isn't a bad time to come to Walt Disney World Resort, because magical family memories can be made every single day of the year. Whenever your family is ready, Mickey will be waiting for you!

    Have a magical day, Michelle!
