If you are able to visit other resorts other than the resort you are staying at? Wondering what options there are for dining out at other resorts restaurants?

    Hi Peta,

Absolutely! One of my family's favorite activities at Walt Disney World is exploring the many resorts and eating in all the fabulous restaurants there. You are welcome to visit any of the resorts, stroll the grounds, shop in the shops or dine in the restaurants -- both the counter service and the table service venues.

Some of our favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World are in the resorts. The ones we particularly favor for table service: California Grill and the Wave at the Contemporary; Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort; Narcoossee's and Grand Floridian Cafe at the Grand Floridian; Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge; Flying Fish Cafe at Boardwalk; and Boma and Sanaa at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Every resort also has a food court or counter service restaurant. That's also a good way to sample other resorts and the fare. We particularly like the food courts at Art of Animation, Pop Century and Coronado Springs.

I hope that gives you some ideas for your visit. I suggest you make reservations as soon as possible if you want to sample any other these table service restaurants. Many are among the most popular and fill up quickly. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans.
