We will be able to preorder our food at Be Our Guests in just a few days. If one of us has a food allergy, do we need to wait to order our food until we arrive? Also, can my 11 year old order from the child's menu (we have a dining plan). Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chrissy! We appreciate your bringing us your questions! We are happy to help!

You can add a note to your order to let them know what your dietary restrictions are. Disney chefs and servers accommodate special requests better than anybody else in the world! You can give them a call ahead or time (407) 939-3463 or send them an email at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. If you prefer to speak to a chef in person or a special-diets-trained Cast Member upon arrival at your dining venue, you may also do that and explain what your preferences are directly to them.

Your eleven-year-old can definitely order from the children's menu. In fact, any adult can order from the children's menu if they prefer the items being offered at a particular venue or if they simply do not feel like eating a bigger serving at that meal. Remember that since your child is eleven-years-old, he/she has paid the adult price (child price applies to children 0 to 9 years of age) for the Dining Plan you have chosen; however, your child can certainly order from the children's menu.

Chrissy, I wish you and your family a fabulous dining experience at Be Our Guest!

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
