Where am I able to do parasailing, rent jetskis, and go horseback riding? We are staying at the GF and PORiverside and those are 3 must dos on our list! Thanks !

I can help you with two of your three "must dos."

Parasailing is available at the Contemporary Resort, just a quick monorail ride away from the Grand Floridian. Less than three weeks ago I stayed at the GF and went parasailing at the Contemporary with my family. Single and tandem rides are available, both a two different heights. We chose the 8-10 minute standard rides at 450 feet. My husband went first as a single. Then two of my daughters together. Then my third daughter and I went on the last flight. Before going up, I was quite nervous, but as soon as we were in the air, I found it incredibly relaxing. It was very quiet and surprisingly not windy. We could see all of the theme parks from our vantage point in the sky. Amazing!

I have also been horseback riding at WDW. This takes place at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, located at the Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. To get there, go to the Magic Kingdom and take the boat to FW. From there you will take the internal FW bus system. You can read about my riding experiences HERE.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with jetskis because jetski rental is not available at WDW. There are some close alternatives. The small Sea Raycer boats are similar in feel to jetskis. These can be rented at several of the resorts located on water. Also, there is waterskiing and tubing available from the Contemporary.

To make reservations or for more information about any of the recreation activities mentioned here, call 407-WDW-PLAY.
