We are only able to go for 3 days to Disney and we plan on going to Hollywood Studios in the morning and to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon/eve. We cannot make fastpass selections at both parks-do you think the lines will be terrible for the Kil. Safari?

    Hi Stefanie,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Planning ahead and making FastPass+ selections is a great way to ensure that you will be able to seamlessly experience the attractions in which you are interested.  The lines for Kilimanjaro Safaris may build as the day goes on.  I do have a suggestion for you to make the most of your park hopping day.

I would flip the order in which you are planning to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom.  I suggest that you visit Disney's Animal Kingdom in the morning, and then Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon and evening.  Since Disney's Hollywood Studios tends to say open later in the evening than Disney's Animal Kingdom, this will help you to maximize the amount of time that you spend in the theme parks.  I suggest making your FastPass+ selections that day for Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon and evening.  Since the theme parks tend to be the least crowded in the mornings and build crowds in the afternoon, I think that afternoon is the key time for FastPass+ reservations.  When you arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom in the morning, head to Kilimanjaro Safaris first since it seems to be an attraction that you really want to experience.  Do be sure to check the Walt Disney World theme park hours to determine the specific operating hours of Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studio for the date that you plan to visit.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Stefanie.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
