Are we able to charge food/drinks/snacks to our room using a Magic Band while in the parks instead of carrying a lot of cash? We are on a dining plan but have 2 boys who will want to eat more than one snack per day.

Welcome, Kristi! Your family must be so thrilled about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! There is so much magic in store for your family when you visit the parks and resorts! My family and I are also counting down the days until we head back to The Place Where Dreams Come True!

One of my favorite parts of escaping from the real world to spend time at Walt Disney World is using our MagicBands! Since they serve as my admission ticket, resort room key, charge card in the parks, and of course FastPass + ticket, I really don't need to carry much else! You can absolutely use your MagicBands to make purchases in the parks, whether it be snacks or drinks for your hungry boys (and believe me, they will work up an appetite at Disney!), or even those "must-have" souvenirs. Simply tap your MagicBand to the touch point at check out and it'll be charged to your resort room. You'll also need to key in a pin code that you'll set up when you check into your Disney resort. That's it! Super easy! So, rest assured that when the boys want a snack, a quick tap will pay for whatever it is they're craving! I have a feeling your boys will want a Mickey Ice Cream Bar or two! I know I always do! And of course, a Dole Whip is not to be missed!

Have so much fun as you get ready to head down to Walt Disney World to begin your magical family vacation, Kristi!
