Hello! I was able to book lunch at BOG for our next vacation. My kids are very picky eaters and there is nothing on the menu that they would eat. Can I feed then somewhere else and order just desert for them at BOG and pay out of pocket? Thank you!

    Hi Patricia,

Be Our Guest Restaurant is one of my favorite places to dine at Walt Disney World!  If this is your first visit to this restaurant then you are in for a real treat.  My tip is to do a quick walk through of the different dining rooms after you have ordered your meal before settling down at a table.

I think you will be fine if you choose to only order dessert for your children when you are dining for lunch.  Recently my cousin had lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant with her husband and two little girls.  Her children aren't very big eaters and had just eaten a sizeable mid-morning snack so they weren't quite ready for a meal at the time of her lunch reservations.  Therefore my cousin ordered a full lunch for herself and husband and just gourmet cupcakes for her little girls.  Everybody's appetites were satisfied and they were all able to experience the magical environment of Be Our Guest Restaurant.  It is up to you how you pay for your meal.  If you have the Disney Dining Plan you may use meal and snack credits for the items you would like to use your Disney Dining Plan and then pay cash for the other items.  Simply inform the Cast Member what you would like to do when you place your order.

If you enjoy desserts, be sure to try the gourmet cupcakes!  My favorites are The Master's cupcake and the Strawberry Cream Cheese cupcake.  The Master's cupcake is filled with "The Grey Stuff" which is truly delicious and you won't even need to ask the dishes.

    Have a Disney Day!
