Hello, I have AAA Disneyworld tickets and want to link them to My Disney Experience. Am I supposed to scratch off a section on the back of the tickets? What is the purpose of the scratch off section on the back of the tickets anyway? Thank you.

Hey, Angela! I am so glad you were able to get a good deal from AAA on your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets! My husband laughs each time I try to tell him how much I saved on our resort room or theme park tickets because he knows I will find a really easy way to spend that extra money during our vacation! Well, I firmly believe that any dollar saved is an extra dollar for more Dole Whip Floats!

I remember a friend of mine purchasing tickets from our local AAA in the past year or two and she also had the scratch off area on the back of her tickets. You will actually want to gently rub off the cover layer of that small area because it hides the last four digits of your ticket ID number. So, grab a coin and get to scratching! When you have the full area uncovered, hop on My Disney Experience and link your tickets to your account. You will want the tickets linked so you can make your FastPass+ selections as soon as you are able. Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can make their selections up to 60 days in advance of their check-in date. If you are not a Resort hotel guest, then you can make these selections up to 30 days in advance of each day you plan to visit one of the theme parks. Some of the attraction FastPass+ are quite popular, so be sure to have your tickets linked and ready to use!

Angela, if you have any issues linking your tickets, please give a Ticketing Cast Member a call as soon as possible to get it all sorted. Thanks for bringing this great question to us and please let us know if we can help you again!
