About Me
I am a father of two wonderful kids and the proud husband to the greatest mother, woman and wife. Standing at well over six feet, this teacher-by-trade navigates the halls of a suburban Toronto high school with a flair for the dramatic arts but English as his accredited subject. There may be some life lesson or topic that cannot be taught to eager young minds through a sound Disney analogy, but I have never heard it.
I also train for Disney marathons and I am (probably) the only Disney Parks “Mom” that can swap style advice and outfits with Goofy – and pull them off as well! One day, I hope to pilot my own Jungle Cruise boat under the glorious Schweitzer Falls.

About My Family
Tucked away in the cold, dark recesses of the Canadian wilderness – Toronto, actually – lives the Disney Super Dad to two super kids: a Mermaid-Sorcerer and a Maui-Hulk. Together, our powers combine to fight boredom wherever it lurks.
And for those who foolishly believe that this ragtag group of heroes can be defeated, know this: From the beginning of time, they have been guided and protected by a wise, beautiful and incredibly patient Queen, who runs the universe, controls our destinies and makes our lunches, Every…Single...Day. Together, we are a united family!

About My Disney Experience
Like all good stories, this is a story about my mom. My mom was a Disney Parks “Mom” before being a Disney Parks “Mom” was even cool. While I remember going to the Walt Disney World Resort several times growing up, I took for granted how much of an expert my mom was. The scheduling, the reservations, the parks, the resort; she was prepared for everything. Once I started planning Walt Disney World Resort vacations for my family, I would read about the hidden gems and little known experiences at the resort, only to realize I’d done most of them already because of my mom. I think her greatest strength was in how easy she made it all seem. I never appreciated the dedication and motivation required in making a family vacation, let alone a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so magical for others. My mom passed in 2003 and I didn’t start getting into Disney as an adult until after 2007, so we never got to share the planning experience together. But every so often, I’ll come across some experience or activity that I remember from a childhood trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and think of how she was doing the same thing for me that I try to do for others today, and it makes me smile.
