About Me

I am a mother, wife, runner and Disney fanatic. I write a running blog and am the author of several books that are focused on making eating healthy fun for kids. My passions are my family, Disney and running! 've set a goal to run 1,000 miles in 2016 and I'll achieve that goal by running at Disney and training for Disney races. I am a certified running coach, a communications manager for a Fortune 500 company and I recently graduated with my Master of Arts in Communications from Queens University. More than anything, I love spending time with my family. Whether that's visiting the Disney Parks, playing Disney Scene It or watching Disney movies, we are a Disney family that loves spending time together!

About My Family

I feel extremely blessed, as I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 18 years and we have two beautiful children, ages 13 and 9. We started a tradition of taking our kids to Walt Disney World for their birthdays since my son was three years old. Each year we love to carry on our annual traditions, such as watch the fireworks from atop the Contemporary Resort at California Grill, eat a Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwich in front of Cinderella Castle, dine our way around the world at Epcot and spend an entire day at the pool of our resort. However, we also love experiencing something new at WDW each trip! This summer we stayed at Saratoga Springs for the first time and next year we plan to do the early morning safari at Animal Kingdom. There is always something new to do at Walt Disney World each time we visit!

About My Disney Experience

Disney holds a special place in my heart. No matter how many times we visit, I feel like a kid again. From my son's first kiss, to my daughter's first roller coaster to my first marathon, Disney has been full of firsts for our family. When my kids grow up, I want their hearts to be filled with loving memories of spending time together at Walt Disney World. My greatest desire is that they not only remember Trick-or-Treating at the Magic Kingdom, playing in the pool at the resort and eating our way around the world at Epcot, but to experience these traditions to their own children. To me, Disney is much more  than a vacation destination, it is a magical place where dreams can really come true.
