About Me

Jambo, everyone! I am an ambitious single mother who loves anything and everything Disney. Since I was born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida until I was twelve, most of my cherished childhood memories involve Disney Parks. My family relocated to Indiana when I was in middle school and we have been there ever since. I recently graduated from Ball State University (Chirp, Chirp!) with a degree in Communication Studies, and plan to attend graduate school in the near future. In my spare time, I love to read horror/sci-fi books and listen to a wide array of music.

About My Family

I have a 5-year-old son who has been a Disney guest since he was a toddler. He loves to compete against anyone willing on Toy Story Midway Mania, but I will warn you, he is not a graceful loser! Some of my son’s favorite things at Disney are the penny press machines, character autographs, Jungle Cruise at night, and dining at Chef Mickey’s. Many people like to relax on vacation, but my son and I prefer the opposite. We love getting up for the Magic Kingdom Rope Drop and staying in the parks as long as possible. We always try to do something new with each vacation and experience as much as we can.

About My Disney Experience

For me, the first stop during any Walt Disney World vacation is Pirates of the Caribbean; it has been my absolute favorite attraction, along with the Haunted Mansion, since I was a little girl. Although I love the bustling atmosphere of the Magic Kingdom, my favorite Disney Park is Animal Kingdom. Before it opened in 1998, my father helped construct the foundation of what is now the Kali River Rapids, and also helped build the Monkey Temples located in Asia. Animal Kingdom also holds a special place in my heart because of its commitment to conservation and appreciation of wildlife. With my experience in planning vacations and navigating the parks from a single-parent’s perspective, I hope to be able to add a little “pixie-dust” to your vacation.
