About Me

I am energetic, bubbly, kind, and honest. I find beauty in the simple moments and excitement in the animated.  I am a wife, a mother, a runner, a friend, a sister, and a triathlete-in-training.  I will never turn down a good cup of coffee, a great seat for any nighttime spectacular, a croissant doughnut from the Refreshment Port, or a great Disney conversation. I should warn you though, once I get chatting, you might not get me to stop!

About My Family

We are proud to be a public service family. My husband, a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, is just as silly as he is brave.  It is never a surprise to find Mr. B sporting his Mickey Ears, spinning and singing with his little girls in the family room.

We have been blessed beyond measure with two feisty, outspoken girls who just fill our hearts to the brim.  Our 5 year old is working her way through the rainbow of martial arts belts in an effort to rise through the ranks in the Jedi Training Academy.  She is more than a Star Wars superfan, she just knows that she is meant to join the Jedi Order.

Our four year old, known 'round these here parts as Sheriff Callie, is a Disney Junior aficionado.  She displays her badge with pride as she patrols the wild wild western town of El Paso, Texas always looking for anyone who might need a Li'l Help. Do you have a stuffed animal in need of stitches?  Well, Doc Mcstuffins is on the case! She might even blast off into the Stellasphere at any moment just like Miles from Tomorrowland. Her imagination cracks me up and warms my heart.

We also have a big, clumsy goldendoodle; a maltese mix; and a seriously cantankerous cat.  Our house is always action packed and snuggle ready!

About My Disney Experience

It is the first glimpse of Cinderella Castle at sunrise. It's the whir of the monorail as it speeds overhead. It's a bright yellow, rain-soaked Mickey Mouse Disney Parks Poncho over my obsessively planned Grad Night outfit. It could be our entire family strolling through Epcot after a last minute decision to enjoy dinner at Walt Disney World Resort. These are a taste of the memories that provide the backdrop to my youth.

I am so grateful to have been raised just a short drive from Walt Disney World Resort in sunny Daytona Beach, Florida. My parents understood the power of magic and imagination in our lives, so they prioritized our time in Disney Parks. We knew exactly where to go whenever our large, blended family needed a jolt of fun to get back on track. Walt Disney World Resort was our place of excitement and peace. It was always just what we needed.

Two short months after the birth of our first daughter, my Prince and I accepted a job transfer and moved to Central Pennsylvania. We were blessed with our second daughter just ten short months later. Phew! What a whirlwind! It was not long before I was planning our first Walt Disney World Resort Vacation with our new generation of Disney Princesses. It was then that we discovered Disney Vacation Club. We knew that it was a perfect fit. We are thrilled to return to our place of wonder with our girls so that their favorite childhood memories will be framed by the same landmarks that remain in the background of my own. It truly speaks to my heart when the incredible Disney Vacation Club Resort Cast Members give us a warm, “Welcome Home” when we stroll hand-in-hand through the doors.

Recently, runDisney “race-cations” have added a whole new element of fun to our Disney Parks vacations. All three generations of our family love preparing for events from the Walt Disney World Marathon to the runDisney Kids Races. We can be active and have fun. Perfect!
