About Me

I am a mother, wife, friend, oncology nurse, and Disney fanatic. I was put on this earth to be a helper and a listener, and face every situation with a positive attitude because I know that life is short and precious. My favorite “extra” thing to do is travel to Walt Disney World, and I especially love visiting during the Christmas season. My love of all things Disney grants me and so many of the people I interact with an escape from reality. From sharing magical memories and tips and tricks, to navigating the parks and even planning trips for first timers, a visit to the Disney Parks & Resorts allows us to dream big and forget about the worries of the world, even if just for a little bit!

About My Family

My husband and I met as children at our church’s youth group and later became high school sweethearts. We share a mutual love – okay, maybe obsession – for all things Disney. We have been blessed with three beautiful children who each remind us of various Disney movie characters. Johnny, our 4-year-old, is similar to “Rapunzel’s” Flynn Rider; he is extremely charming and a bit of a rebel, but has a heart of gold. Our 3-year-old Sophia is much like “Frozen’s” Anna; she is free-spirited, eccentric, and always putting her siblings before herself. Alexandria, our 1-year-old, is just like Merida from “Brave.” She is bold, stubborn, loud, and rebellious; she will move mountains someday. Walt Disney World is a place where my family can come together and literally watch our dreams come true.

About My Disney Experience

I first visited Walt Disney World as a young teenager and was awestruck when my aunt took me to the Magic Kingdom and Blizzard Beach. I didn’t return until I was 19 for my first official “family vacation.” On our first night there after a beautiful dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table, my then-boyfriend got down on his knee and proposed! Just as I said “yes,” the fireworks began, and I remember running down the stairs of the castle hand-in-hand truly believing that I was Cinderella. That trip was really where my love of Disney exploded. Since then, I have traveled countless times to the Walt Disney World Resort with my own family. We also love Disneyland and cruising with Disney Cruise Line. I will never forget seeing the look on my children’s faces the first time they met Mickey Mouse or experiencing their first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop. There is something so magical about being surrounded by smiling faces and watching your family having the time of their lives at the Walt Disney World Resort.
