I am a Georgia native, born and raised in metro Atlanta. I left for only four years to earn my BA in Speech Communications from Auburn University. I have worked as a journalist, PR account executive and a marketing director for several large clients. I’m now a stay-at-home mom and freelance writer / marketing director. Those who know me laugh when I say “stay-at-home,” because I am so rarely at home. I am extremely involved in my children’s school and several community organizations. I enjoy watching my three girls dance, love a good book, resting at the beach and having fun in Disney World. I also love helping others plan their Disney vacations and then hearing every detail upon their return home.
About My Family
My husband and I have been married for 17 years and are the parents of three wonderful daughters. It can easily be said that my house is filled with princesses. With ages ranging from 5 to 13, there is never a dull moment. All three girls dance and their dad has seen more dance recitals and productions than he ever dreamed of, I am sure. We love spending time together, and without a doubt, many of our favorite memories involve Disney. I smile when I recall each of my girls standing on their tiptoes to reach the required height for a certain ride and those first hugs with their favorite Disney characters.
About My Disney Experience
We have visited Disney World every year since my 13 year old was 2 and have stayed in resorts ranging from value to deluxe. Each trip was more magical than the last. I will never forget our first trip to the Magic Kingdom, walking through the park as my then six month old was sleeping in the stroller. The Fairy Godmother asked if I minded if she pushed the carriage for awhile and held the hand of my oldest. She stayed with us for quite some time, and we all love to look at the photo of her with the girls. Even though two are older, all three can’t imagine a trip without dining at Cinderella’s Royal Table and getting that special hug from the Fairy Godmother. It just doesn’t get any more magical than Disney World!
