Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Visiting MK for 1 day in May after cruise, planning on purchasing Memory Maker. Will 7 Dwarves ride be open at that time and have a ride photo? Do we get a discount as DVC members?
THANK YOU for all of your help!

- Hi Carter,
It sound like you have a wonderful vacation coming up - a Disney cruise followed by some time at the Magic Kingdom!
The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is going to be such a fun addition to Fantasyland. I cannot wait to ride it! As of now, there is no official opening date for this attraction. Currently it is slated to open in spring 2014, so it is possible that it will be open when you visit. I did some research, but I do not know at this time if this attraction will have an on-ride photo. For further updates on this attraction, I suggest that you monitor the Disney Parks Blog. The link I gave is to a recent article about the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train on the Disney Parks Blog.
There are some great discounts available for Disney Vacation Members. They are of course subject to change at any time. As of now, I do not believe that there is a discount available on Memory Maker. I check for Disney Vacation Club Member Discounts at the Disney Vacation Club Member website. Once there, log in and to the tab for "Member Extras" and then select "Perks & Discounts." From the right-hand side of that page, you can download Portable Perks, which will give you a list of current discounts and perks available to Disney Vacation Club members.
You are very welcome for our answers, Carter. We on the Disney Parks Moms Panel love helping you to plan magical Disney vacations. Please do come back and visit us again if you have any more questions!
