Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi! Does anyone know how easy or difficult it usually is to get a 2 bedroom villa at BLT in mid-October? We are DVC members but can't book until 3-16-14. Thanks!

- Hi Shawn,
My family and I love Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. The theme is so sleek and modern, and the ability to walk to Magic Kingdom is such a great perk!
I am not too sure about how easy or difficult it will be to book at two-bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort in mid-October at the seven-month mark. It does seem that in October, accommodations at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and Disney's Beach Club Villas tend to fill up fast due to their proximity to Epcot for the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, so this may work in your favor. I do still think that it might be difficult to get a two-bedroom villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort when booking at your seven-month window.
When I plan a Disney Vacation Club trip, I tend to know the dates that I want to travel. I am going to work on the assumption that you want to go in mid-October. If this is the case, I suggest that you book a two-bedroom villa at your home resort now, since you are within your eleven-month window to do so. Then, call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800 at the seven-month mark to see if you can change your reservation to Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, based on availability. Even if you cannot change your reservation right then, you could put yourself on the waitlist in case the accommodation does become available, and if it does not, you will still have your reservation at your home resort.
I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Shawn. Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
