Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi I will be attending magic kingdom with a 3 year old who will need a sleep during the day if she is to last, can anyone suggest an area that they think would suit Many thanks

  • Hi Fiona,

I had to smile reading your question because many of us moms and dads have had this same thought and dilemma when traveling to Walt Disney World. Here are my suggestions:
    • Bring a stroller and as she falls asleep, just keep moving, browse through the stores on Main Street or find a quiet shady place such as near the Baby Care Center tucked back near Crystal Palace or near Carousel of Progress.
    • Speaking of Carousel of Progress, I have ridden this ride many a time with my toddler sleeping on my chest, then when the attraction is over headed over to the PeopleMover, also in Tomorrowland and ridden that. Both usually have little or no wait, so it is easy to get on and off each one without a lot of standing around.
    • Take a ride on the monorail over to Epcot and then back. Just make the loop. With the monorail, you don't even have to break down the stroller, which is super convenient if they are already asleep in it.
    • Lastly, if you have are able to go back to your resort hotel, this is ideal for quiet and a bed.

I hope these suggestions offer some ideas and remember, she won't be the only child that you'll find taking a little snooze in order to last the day!

    Happy napping!
