Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello! Last time we were at Disney in 2011, we purchased a PhotoPass CD and got a CD with all of the photos we had taken of us. Now I see the Memory Maker. Can you tell me what the difference is between the 2 - do I now have to buy both? Thank you!

- Hi Adrianne! The superb quality you experienced from the Disney PhotoPass Photographers hasn't changed since your last visit to Walt Disney World Resort...but with the all new Memory Maker you'll be able to enjoy capturing more photos.
That's because Memory Maker is a completely digital product and unlike PhotoPass+ it does not include any prints or a CD. With Memory Maker you will be able to capture unlimited picture perfect moments at all Disney PhotoPass locations throughout Walt Disney World Resort and Downtown Disney including character meetings, iconic spots, special attractions locations like Splash Mountain, and feature restaurants.
So instead of paying for individual pictures, Memory Maker allows you to download your photos as many times as you want with the freedom and flexibility to print your photos and burn your own CD with all the images.
Another exciting feature of the new Memory Maker is the ability to view and download photos from any family and friends connections in your My Disney Experience account. Everything is connected with the all-new MagicBands simply tap your MagicBands after a Disney PhotoPass photographer takes your picture and it will be connected to your account. Your pictures will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken giving you plenty of time to download them to your computer and burn your own CD.
The Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc is still available for purchase at Walt Disney World Resort and MyDisneyPhotoPass.com. Purchase Memory Maker at least 3 days before your arrival and you'll save $50 off the regular price of $199.
Wishing you a magical and memorable Disney Vacation!
