Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello, we have reservations from 1-25 through 1-31. My problem is check out time is 11 on the 31st and our plane doesn't take off until 8 that evening. What do we do from 11 until it's time to go to airport? And also with luggage and stuff?

- Hi, Shannon!
We always plan on heading back to PA from Walt Disney World on one of the later flights in the evening just so that we get to squeeze a little more magic into our trip!
If you are staying at a WDW Resort hotel, simply ask for your bags to held at Bell Services. The Cast Member assisting you will take your bags (and...sorry...will hold your winter coats/hats/gloves for your return home in PA ;-) ) and store them in a secured location adjacent to the resort lobby. You'll be given a claim check which includes your name and the number of items on your cart, so be sure to keep that handy for your return. If you have items you'd like to be refrigerated (cool drinks to enjoy prior to entering airport security, for example) just put those in a separate bag and ask the CM to store them in a refrigerated compartment for you. It's no trouble!
If you'll be using Disney's Magical Express, you'll likely be picked up at your resort at about 5:00 p.m. for an 8:00 p.m. flight.
No park ticket? No problem. Head to Downtown Disney, where you can shop, dine, take in a movie or even bowl a game or two. In fact, my husband and I just had a really great dinner while watching Frozen at Fork & Screen, located at AMC Movies at Downtown Disney 24. It was a wonderful way to spend one last day at WDW. You can even select your seat for the show. (I'll take an aisle seat near the back of the theater, thank you very much. :-) )
Other options include booking a nice lunch at a resort and touring the property, too. Disney's BoardWalk is a great place for that, and it's not crowded during the day, either.
Have a fantastic trip, Shannon! Send more questions as you think of them; we love to help!
