Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I have an existing reservation Feb 14-20, 2014 with Stay Play and Dine package for wife and I. Daughter and 2 children 3 and 18m would like to join us from Feb 14 to 17. Can I add them to my room and would they qualify for Stay Play and Dine package?

- Hi Robert!
Nothing more magical than a Disney vacation, except saving some Disney Dollars on your next Walt Disney World vacation!Disney's Stay, Play and Dine Offer is a great way to help stretch your budget and spend more time having fun. When booking Disney's Stay,Play and Dine package, everyone on your reservation must meet the minimum requirements in order to take advantage of this special offer.Guests with a Magic Your Way Package staying in the same room, must also have a the same components such as ticket length, dining plan and number of nights stay.Stay, Play and Dine requires guests to purchase a Magic Your Way Package with a minimum of 3 nights, length of stay base ticket (if staying 5 nights, you would need a 6 day ticket) and dining plan for everyone on your reservation. Not to worry though, there is a way that you could still take advantage of this special offer and add your daughters to your reservation.
Many guests will do what is called a "split reservation," which essentially is two separate reservations one that includes your daughters and one without. If you plan for your daughters to be with you February 14th through the 17th and 17th through the 20th without, both these dates should meet the requirements for this special offer. You will be required to check-in and check-out with both reservations, often you can stay in the same room and not have to switch rooms within your Disney Resort. While Cast Members will do everything they can to keep your from switching rooms, sometimes it is inevitable and you will have to switch rooms when you move onto your second reservation.Make sure to add your daughters to your reservation before this special offers disappears on December 31st.
I hope this was helpful,Robert! Please visit me again if you have anymore question or need advice on planning your upcoming vacation.
