Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- With DAC are there still specific handicapped areas for parades and shows, or has this also been eliminated. (Will need to remain in scooter throughout parade or show.) Thanks for your help.

- Hi, Jacalyn!
Thanks for your question! I am happy to confirm for you that there are still specially designated areas for guests with mobility disabilities at parades and shows. The parade locations are marked on the park Guide Maps (for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom). There are currently no parades offered at Epcot or Hollywood Studios.
At each show entrance, Cast Members will indicate where you should proceed for the disabled seating locations. I always suggest arriving at least 15 minutes in advance of the next show time for the best seating availability. For Fantasmic! in Hollywood Studios, you may want to consider arriving at least 45 minutes early for a prime viewing location.
The new Disability Access Service (DAS) Card does not affect in any way the disabled viewing and seating locations at parades and shows. The locations remain the same as they have been in the past. For example, there are three disabled viewing areas for the Magic Kingdom parades: the right side of Hub area in front of Cinderella Castle, Liberty Square across from the Hall of Presidents attraction, and Town Square in front of the Walt Disney World Railroad Station.
