Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- This is our 4th trip to Disney in 2 1/2 years. We cannot say enough wonderful things about this magical place. My husband and I have a 15 year old and a 2 year old, both sons. What is a good book to help locate hidden mysteries of Disney?

- Hello Mendi,
I understand and share your feelings about the 'most magical place on earth'!
I have read many books about Walt Disney World and I recently came across a series entitled The Imagineering Field Guide to the Magic Kingdom (there are three others...The Imagineering Field Guide to Disney's Hollywood Studios / Disney's Animal Kingdom / Epcot). They are written by The Imagineers - those magic-makers responsible for the planning, designing and building of Disney parks and resorts. You will read about the 'back stories' to many of the park features, as well as some of the amusing elements that are 'hidden' in architecture or attractions. These books have helped me to make many new discoveries about all the parks.
Our family also enjoys hunting for 'Hidden Mickeys'. There is a book by Steven M. Barrett which will help lead you on a scavenger hunt for Hidden Mickeys through all the park attractions and resorts. This is a wonderful pastime, and a little bit habit-forming! In no time you will be looking at the parks in a whole new way, seeing things you never saw before!
Mendi, thanks for writing the Mom's Panel. Have a magical vacations together with your family!
