Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • What are DS 6 and DS 3 or what is DD5.....I guessing they are children, but I don't understand the different letters in front of the numbers.

  • Hi David,

In an effort to get a lot of information into a limited number of characters, people have a tendency to abbreviate.  The only problem lies in the fact that sometimes it can be difficult to decipher the numbers and letters -- certainly texting has and internet forums have created a whole new language.

DS usually refers to "Dear Son", and the number following is the age of the child.  Likewise, DD translates to "Dear Daughter."

Hope this helps.  TTFN (That's Tigger-ese for "Ta ta for now")
