Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Can I bring my Service Dog into the Park? He is a 2 year old Male Chihuahua Medic Alert dog. He is use to crowded places.

- Hi Pauline,
Chihuahuas are "tiny but mighty" - I like that. Trained service animals are permitted in most locations throughout Walt Disney World. However, they must remain on a leash or harness at all times. I'm sure your dog has a vest or something else indicating that he is a Medic Alert dog and I'd recommend bringing that with you.
When entering a queue at an attraction, you should use the entrance for Guests using wheelchairs. If you have any questions, be sure to ask a Cast Member at the entrance of the queue.
For safety, there are some rides that service animals are not permitted to ride. To see a list of those attractions, click here. If you wish to ride, another member of your party will have to remain with your dog while you ride. Cast Members are not permitted to watch service animals so please plan accordingly.
There are specific "relief areas" for service animals in the parks. When you enter a park, be sure to pick up a Guide for Guests with Disabilities which will list the designated areas. Be sure to stop by Guest Relations if you need assistance with anything. They are always happy to try to accommodate your needs whenever possible.
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
