  • Hi Diana!

Pin Trading at Walt Disney World is so much fun! My son and I really got love Pin Trading on our trips to Walt Disney World. In all the stores in Walt Disney World, they sell starter lanyards with 4 starter pins to give your children some pins to start trading with right away. I would recommend that each child have their own Pin Trading Lanyard. The Pin Trading Lanyard with the 4 Starter Pins costs between $20 and $30 in Walt Disney World which can be cost prohibitive if you have multiple children.

I would recommend that you look on eBay for Pin Trading Lanyards and lots of Disney Pins (many eBay sellers offer 10 to 20 pins in a group which you can purchase for less than $0.50 to $1.00 a pin by bidding for a group or "lot" of pins). When you purchase a group of pins on eBay, you will get an assortment of different and random pins, but this should not matter because your children are going to trade them for pins that they want to collect. I have purchased Disney Pins from eBay many times for my son and I and I have not had any problems trading them in the Parks as long as they are official Disney Pins with "Disney" stamped on the back of the pin.  A great video on Pin Trading by my fellow Moms Panel Dad, Bret is attached to this answer!

I hope that you and your children have a magical time trading pins on your next trip to Walt Disney World!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
    Marc
