Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- I know there were changes to the guest assis pass, I just started treatments for breast cancer and am wondering if there are any accommodations still available? I'm traveling Nov 5-10 with my family of 11, I'm worried about the heat for extended times.Thx

- Hi, Karen! There are still accommodations that can be made, using the new Disability Access Services card. This card allows guests with special accommodation needs to enjoy the theme parks without waiting in long, hot lines.
The way this new card works is basically like a FastPass. You will go to an attraction you are interested in, and the cast member can give you a time to return that works out to about the same amount of time that the guests in the line will be waiting. So, if there is a 60 minute wait for the attraction, your return time will be in about the same amount of time.
What this allows you to do is visit another attraction with a shorter waiting time, find a nice air conditioned spot to relax in, or even do a little shopping or eating. You won't have to stand for a long period of time, and you can avoid the heat!
I hope your treatments go well, and your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World is a celebration of you being well on your way to winning this fight!
