  • Hi Whitney,

The first thing that you need to do is to decide when you would like to visit and where you which Disney Resort hotel you would like to stay at. The great news is that there are Resort hotels available to meet every budget and taste. You can find out all about the different Disney Resort hotels and the benefits of staying at them on the Walt Disney World website.

The next thing that you will need to do is to think about making some advanced dining reservations.
I always try to make dining reservations either in the Park that we will be visiting or at a Resort which is situated nearby. The main reason for doing this is to minimise the amount of time spent travelling during the day and to maximise our time in the parks. I would also recommend making dining reservations for times when you would normally eat your meals so that you do not disrupt your Sons routine too much. Dining reservations can be made up to 180 days prior to your trip online or by calling (407) 939-3463.

Once you arrive, I would recommend that you aim to be at the Disney Parks for park opening each day. You will be amazed at just how many attractions you will be able to experience in the first few hours before many Guests arrive for the day.

As your Son is still quite young, you could always head back to your Disney Resort hotel for a nap or some relaxation time in the afternoon if he gets tired before returning to enjoy some of the nighttime entertainment on offer at the Disney Theme Parks.

I know that there is a lot to take in and my best advice would be to concentrate on one thing at a time.

Wishing you a magical trip filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
