Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Our children our anaphylactic to all dairy products, egg products, peanuts and tree nuts. Can we be accommodated anywhere in disney world for them to be able to eat safely?
this is the only thing holding us back from travel.

- Hi Susan! I too am a card carrying Epipen holder! I'm actually glad that I'm the one with the deadly allergies. I commend your strength Mom. I would be beside myself with worry if it was my Princess with the deadly food allergies and not me.
I'm not going to say that you won't worry, cause we both know you will. But what I will say is that I have been visiting Walt Disney World for almost 3 decades and I have never had a problem. OK, that just reminded me that I need to schedule my botox treatment. I'm allergic to nuts, not botulism. Weird.
But back to your children and their diets. Walt Disney World is amazingly good at dealing with people with different food issues. For table service restaurants, you call ahead (407-939-3463) and let them know of your children's allergies. They will notify the chefs at all the restaurants you plan to visit and the cross contamination issues. Counter service eateries are more of a challenge as you can't make reservations in advance. If you do eat at these establishments, notify the manager cast member before you order. The counter service restaurants have listings of their menu items and ingredient lists.
I carry a soft cooler of snacks with me that contain safe items for me to munch on in between meals. When you call Disney dining, you will see what I mean. For people like us, they are such a blessing.
Have a pixie dusted trip with your family!
