Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi Moms! Read that there is now Fastpass+ areas for viewing parades/fireworks. Are there still disabled viewing areas for those in wheelchairs? Don't want to book it as may not be in park that long due to medical issues, but if so, want to be able to see!

- Hi Heather ~
I was at Disney at Christmas and there were still designated parade viewing areas for Guests with Disabilities at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. There were also IllumiNations viewing areas for Guests with Disabilities Epcot as well. These areas are shown on the Park Guide Maps. There are also special Guides for Guests with Disabilities available at Guest Relations at each of the theme parks. You may also download them prior to your trip on the link for Guests with Disabilities.
Keep in mind that these designated viewing areas for Guests with Disabilities are on a first come basis. If you are visiting during a high peak season, you will want to arrive early to secure a spot. If there are a lot of Guests in wheelchairs or ECVs, the Cast Members may only allow one person of your party to stay with you in the designated area and ask that the other members of your party watch from nearby. On nights it wasn't crowded, we've all been able to stay together.
Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
