Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Traveling to WDW from 9/29/14-10/6/14. Will the suits at AoA comfortably accommodate a party of 5 (3 adults plus a 9 and 6 y.o) plus a service animal? Also, any reviews of the new DAS system? It is our autistic son's first trip. Want to plan for success!

- Hi, Christi!
It's wonderful that you're planning ahead for your Walt Disney World visit in Fall 2014! Preparing a good plan in advance of your arrival will help ensure that your family's Disney time is as magical as it can be!
I'm excited to hear that you've chosen to stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort! My family so enjoyed our stay there last November that we're returning for a second time in just a few weeks! The Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation are themed to popular Walt Disney and Disney/Pixar animated movies: The Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Cars. (My personal favorite is The Lion King Family Suite!) Each Suite can accommodate up to 6 Guests and features a separate bedroom with one queen-size bed and living room areas with a double-size sleeper sofa and a double-size convertible TableBed. The Suites also feature TWO bathrooms and a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Your party of 3 adults, 2 children and one service animal will definitely be comfortable in one of the Family Suites!
The new Disability Access Service (DAS) Card -- along with Disney's FASTPASS and FastPass+ Service -- will enable your family to enjoy the Disney theme parks in the most convenient way possible. Please click on this link for more information about Services for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities, including details on the new Disability Access Service Card. From this link you will also be able to download the helpful Guide for Guests with Cognitive Disabilities.
Please write back with any additional questions as you continue to plan your visit in 2014.
Have a magical day!
