Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- 8 of my family mbrs will go to WDW in Feb. 2013 (including 2 grandparents). My dad is 76 and recently had two knee surgeries. Although he can walk, he has his limits, but will never use a wheelchair. Any suggestions? We want to do as much as possible!

- Hi Emily,
I am so glad that your whole extended family is able to go to Walt Disney World in February. Since your Dad has had surgery recently, I would suggest going to Guest Relations and getting a Guest Assistance Card (GAC). Your Dad will need to be with you when you talk with a Cast Member. You can have the GAC for your party of eight so you will be able to ride the attractions together. You can also take advantage of the FASTPASS system as well. If you Dad will consider an Electronic Conveyance Vehicle (ECV), you can rent this daily in any of the theme parks and Downtown Disney. I would recommend making some Advanced Dining Reservations for lunch or dinner. This will give everyone a rest. You can also "divide and conquer" and have a meeting place at a specific time. This works well especially if you have older kids who just want to ride all the attractions. I know that you will have such a magical visit to Walt Disney World, Emily! Enjoy!
