Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We will be visiting WDW soon, and both my grandmother and myself have a handicap parking plaquard. Will we need a different hang tag other than the one we use in Indiana for our cars for parking in a handicap spot, if we decide to drive to the theme park?

- Hi Jen,
Welcome to the Moms Panel!
Handicapped Parking is available at all of the theme parks and water parks. You will be fine using your permit from Indiana. Just be sure to display it from the rearview mirror of your car. You will also be okay if you drive a car with a permanent license plate.
Once you go through the parking plaza, follow the blue line painted on the pavement. A Cast Member will also direct you once you're in the parking lot. The handicapped parking spaces are located near the front of each theme park with the exception of the Magic Kingdom where parking is near the Ticket & Transportation Center (TTC). From there, you will need to take the monorail or ferry boat to the Magic Kingdom - both of which are handicapped accessible.
The current fee for parking is $14.00 per day (please keep in mind that is subject to change at anytime without notice). The fee also applies to Guests with handicapped parking permits. Once you've paid the fee for the day, you are allowed to come and go to as many parks as you'd like during that day without being required to pay the parking fee again.
If you are staying at a Disney Resort, parking is free of charge. You'll just need to show the Cast Member at the parking plaza your Resort Parking Permit.
Parking is also free for Annual Passholders. If you or anyone who will be traveling in your car is an Annual Passholder, they can show their Annual Pass along with a photo ID at the parking plaza for complimentary parking.
Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We are happy to assist you plan for an incredible trip.
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
