Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are first-timers who really know nothing about visiting Disney and want to get the most out of a few days without breaking the bank. Are there other benefits to going with a vacation package besides being close to the parks? How do the dining plans work

- Hi Eden!
If you're a first-timer, then the Disney Parks Moms Panel is a GREAT place to start your planning!
Walt Disney World Magic Your Way Vacation Packages are a great way to ensure that you can plan your vacation within the parameters of your budget - while allowing for extra perks, conveniences and magic!
Being close to the parks is of course a great bonus - but there's so much more than that. I've included a link that lists all the added perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Complimentary transportation all around the property, Extra Magic Hours, the Disney Dining Plan and so much more! Take a read of this great link that further explains the Benefits of a Disney Resort Hotel.
Disney Dining Plans are a great convenience and money saver. If you're travelling with very young kids, or don't wish to spend time at sit-down restaurants or Character Dining, then the Quick Service plan is all you'll need. If you'd like to enjoy a restaurant meal about once daily, then the regular plan is for you ... and if you'd like to try some fine dining, dinner shows and Character Meals during your stay, consider the Deluxe Dining Plan. The "credits" you'll use for the plan are allocated per person based on the number of nights you're staying on-site. Credits are in a 'pool' or account for the length of your stay and you can use more one day and less another if you wish. I've included a link just above for you that will explain in detail how the plans work.
If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to write me back Eden. I'd love to hear from you again!
Wishing you a simply Magical time as you begin planning your visit to Walt Disney World!
